Six Steps From Quote to Delivery

Request a Quote, Review Your Estimate, Plan Your Move, Packing & Pickup, Transportation, and Delivery.

  1. Request a Quote

Tell us where you’re moving from and to, when you’d like to move, and what’s coming with you. Use the quote form or call us. We’ll follow up to go over the details of your move.

    What to prepare

    • Both addresses, plus access details such as stairs, elevators and parking
    • Your preferred dates and how flexible they are
    • The size of your home and a list of large or specialty items
    • Any services you want, such as packing, storage or vehicle transportation

    What to expect

    • A free quote with no obligation to book
    • Questions about your belongings so your estimate is as accurate as possible
  2. Review Your Estimate

Your estimate is put in writing before moving day. It lists the services included and how your price is determined, so you can compare and ask questions before you commit.

    What to prepare

    • Read every line, including services and any additional charges
    • Check whether the estimate is binding or non-binding
    • Review the valuation option, payment schedule and cancellation terms
    • Write down any questions to ask us

    What to expect

    • Straight answers to your questions
    • An updated estimate if your plans or inventory change
  3. Plan Your Move

Once you book, we confirm the plan: your pickup date, your delivery dates or window, packing, storage, vehicle transportation and access at both homes.

    What to prepare

    • Building rules, elevator reservations and parking permits
    • A plan for children and pets on moving day
    • Decluttering and packing, if you’re packing yourself
    • Records, address changes and utilities (see our checklist)

    What to expect

    • A moving plan your family can follow
    • Clear communication about what comes next
  4. Packing & Pickup

On pickup day, the crew protects your furniture, packs anything you asked us to pack, and loads your shipment. An inventory of your belongings is prepared, and you review and sign the paperwork.

    What to prepare

    • Be present, or have an adult you authorize there
    • Set aside items that aren’t moving and mark them clearly
    • Keep your essentials box, documents and valuables with you

    What to expect

    • Your bill of lading and inventory: keep your copies
    • A final walkthrough before the truck leaves
  5. Transportation

Your shipment travels to your new home. Timing depends on distance, route, season and schedule. If your new home isn’t ready, storage in our warehouse can hold your belongings until it is.

    What to prepare

    • Keep your phone reachable
    • Tell us right away if your delivery address or contact number changes

    What to expect

    • Delivery within the dates or window in your paperwork
    • Someone to call with questions while your shipment is on the way
  6. Delivery

Your belongings are unloaded and placed in the rooms you choose. Items we took apart are reassembled, and unpacking is available if you requested it.

    What to prepare

    • Be present, or have an adult you authorize there
    • Know where you want furniture and boxes to go
    • Have any payment due at delivery ready, as shown in your estimate

    What to expect

    • A chance to check items against the inventory before you sign
    • Any damage noted on your paperwork; claims can be filed in writing within nine months
